Ok.. Here's the long answer now that I have a little more time.

I have a Texas Hunter Products 12 Volt feeder. I bought the kit with the solar panel and battery.  It is very easy to set and test and can be set for a ton of feed times and durations.  I have had it for almost 2 years and it works like a champ everyday. The only time it did not feed was when I got a bag string wrapped around the spin plate.

The 12volt motor really chunks the corn. I like this cause it spreads out the deer and makes it a little harder for them to pick up. Also, it reduces the hog damage under the feeder.

Haven't seen you in a while, If you want I can meet you at the camp house and you can check it out...

Thanks for the info.  Yeah, we need to meet at the camphouse one afternoon.  I'll give you a call sometime soon.

Did you get the barrel type or the square one?  i saw both of them down at the Hunter's Extravaganza down in Houston, both looked nice.  I am also considering an Ultramatic Feeder, their store is in Hockley, probably save me some money in shipping.  The one I looked at had everything on it including ladder, varmit cage, solar, belly band, funnel and timer. I need to decide soon, need to get my feed going.
